A Yorkshire Terrier named Lucy is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world’s smallest working dog. Lucy is a certified therapy dog and visits hospitals, nursing homes, and schools by way of an organization called Leashes of Love. She is 5.7 inches tall and weighs about 2 1/2 pounds.

Approximately four years ago, Lucy was rescued by her owner, Sally Leone Montufar from New Jersey. Lucy was very weak but was nursed back to health. I know that this isn't the most original thought out there. But tonight while I've been studying for an exam I sort of got blown away by how I've spent my entire life in school. I've still got two years to go with the certification I'm going for. How has this become the norm in our society? Could we not better streamline our education towards a career?
